Hi, my name is Laetitia, I am an empathetic and caring fifth year psychology student who loves to work with people! My desire to help others is reflected in my choice of degree and I would love to start making a difference now one person at a time! I believe that connection with others is so important for health and I enjoy connection with, and learning from, others too! I am a 22 year old female who loves to read both fiction and non fiction and enjoys films of all sorts (although nothing too violent!!). I come from a musical and theatrical family and enjoy “the arts”, including a wide range of music (especially classical and jazz). I really enjoy learning from others too and would love to have the opportunity to get to know people, hear about their stories and learn about their interests! I am a bit of a geek, especially about Harry Potter, Marvel, Psychology, Agatha Christie and Music theatre! I also love to cook, but most of all I enjoy connecting with others! One of my hobbies is cooking- I love to cook for, and with, others! I enjoy making healthy and delicious meals for my family at home and would love to do that for someone in the LikeFamily community too! I also love to bake cakes and biscuits with my friends, I’m not very good at decorating them, but we always have fun and they taste great all the same! I love learning new recipes, I recently learnt how to cook Pho from my elderly Vietnamese neighbour- learning how to cook authentically is wonderful and I would love to be a cooking buddy too!! Coming from a musical family, I also have a love of music. My mother was an opera singer and music has always been a part of my life- I play some jazz piano and classical cello, and I enjoying singing for fun. I would love to be an event buddy and share concerts, and spirited discussions, with others about the performances we saw. I love to learn more about music too and would love to hear others view on it.
