I have previously worked as a Support Worker in an Independent Living Program and it was the most rewarding job I have ever had. Supporting people to continue living independently is really important to me. I am patient, kind and empathetic. I am all about empowering someone to be the best version of themselves. I am a big advocate for giving anyone I support choice and control over every aspect of their lives. I am there merely as a support not to take over. I am a very good listener, I love hearing about people's stories and lives. I am passionate about ensuring people who need extra support in life are treated like human beings and given the respect they deserve. I love watching any kind of sports, cooking, reading, listening to music, I have three teenagers who keep me busy and young at heart. I am relaxed and easy going and non-judgmental and love to have a laugh.
