I wanted to become a Social Carer because supporting people comes naturally to me. I’ve always had a strong instinct for noticing what someone needs, emotionally, physically, or practically and I genuinely enjoy helping people feel safe, understood, and empowered in their day to day life.
I’m good at this work because I bring a calm, grounded presence and I build trust quickly. I’m reliable, intuitive, and detail oriented, and I take pride in providing support that is both practical and genuinely caring. I understand the importance of routine, emotional safety, clear communication and follow through, especially for people who rely on consistent support. I show up fully, I listen deeply, and I always make sure the people I support feel respected, valued, and comfortable.
Some of my passions include personal development, fitness, holistic wellbeing, and creating calm, organised spaces for people. I love helping others feel more confident, capable and supported whether that’s through companionship, meaningful conversation, social outings, or helping with daily routines and goals.
My hobbies include going for walks, exploring new places, practising health and wellness routines, and spending quality time with people I care about. I enjoy cooking simple, healthy meals, staying active, and learning new skills that help me show up as a better support worker and person.
I am a trained somatic therapist and a transpersonal counsellor, and I bring a very calm, intuitive and grounding presence to the people I support. I’m confident with emotional regulation, gentle redirection, and understanding attachment needs, which helps me build trust quickly with clients. I’m reliable, organised, and easy to communicate with, and I take pride in creating a safe, positive and supportive environment for everyone I work with
