With over 17 years of experience across mental health, children’s services, and disability support, I have built a career on compassion, respect, and a genuine commitment to improving the lives of others. I provide quality care that is professional, reliable and tailored to each person’s individual needs. I have over 10 years' experience supporting children of all ages and abilities. I have developed a strong understanding of child development, behavioral support, and the importance of building safe, trusting relationships. I have over 5 years' experience supporting people living with a wide range of disabilities, from physical and intellectual disabilities to sensory and neurological conditions. This experience has taught me to adapt to a variety of needs and situations, to communicate in different ways, and to encourage independence wherever possible. I can offer support in community participation, skill development, and emotional support. In the past 2 years, I have also worked in the area of mental health, supporting people living with conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and other complex mental health challenges. I support people to manage daily routines, build confidence, access community resources, and work towards their personal goals. I value family, friendships, and maintaining a balanced lifestyle. I also enjoy walking, going to the gym, spending time in the ocean and nature/bush walks. Please note that my availability is weekends 7am-10pm and Weeknights 5:30pm-8:30pm.
