I see myself as a more of a people person and I really enjoy helping others and learning new things and meeting new people .I have a large family in Sri Lanka where I came from and I lived with my Grandparents before I came to Australia. I moved to Australia for my higher studies. I miss my family very much and would really love to be a help for someone to stay happy and healthy with my ability. In Sri Lanka I worked as a Business Development manager and I volunteered at elder’s homes on most of the weekends .What I understood while I volunteered was that they would love to be loved all the time and they need the support to live as they like but they wouldn’t always require assistance in leading their lives we should respect their personal space always. The first step is to treat them as equals and listen to them patiently and make them feel confident. It’ll be a blessing to help another person to do what they like and care for a person who’s in need. I really enjoy listening to old time stories and learning new things. Look forward to working closely with another awesome person really soon and to finding new friends. I have a lot of hobbies and skills that I would like to share with my companion , one of my favourite hobbies will be jigsaw puzzle solving , if my companion is interested in it I can teach them how to do it patiently and have a good old time chat while solving the jigsaw puzzle , I really love travelling shopping and having walks in beach or at a park.
