Hi My name is Kate and I am motivated to become a Social because I enjoy helping others, I am kind and friendly and are very patient, nothing is to much trouble. I have worked in range of different areas over my working life and enjoy sharing things I have learned. I have worked for large companies and small and also run a couple of small businesses. I have two beautiful grown up children so now have more time to help others. I relate very well to all ages. I enjoy having a cupper or going shopping but also love walking, going to the park and I am very crafty. I have a number of different skills, these include computers and technology and a good understanding of electronics, I'm usually the one that fixes or sets up new appliances. I am very arty and crafty and this is what I enjoy most - Sewing, Knitting, Laser cutting, mosaic and a number of other crafts. I'm also a qualified Remedial Massage therapist - but not practicing anymore. I have a number of members I help achieve their goals one being a gentleman I take to play bowls, when he was living independently I also helped him shop and cook meals, I have a regular lady that I sew with and help with her confidence. I also support a number of other people. My Husband has a Physical disability and I also help care for my Mother -in- law with dementia.
