SOCIAL CARER:
I like to relate with individuals to know about them, and also to learn more about their culture, backgrounds and interests. I've more than four years experience as a support worker, and I actually enjoy conversing with others, and also to broaden my knowledge about things that affect our dialy life. I enjoy hearing other individual's opinions on their topics and major issues. I like to help others to better their life, maintain independence and it brings out the joy in me just to visualise their happiness from services that I've provided. This also gives me the motivation to teach and educate to those that have the interest to learn, or required knowledge. I am hard working and very dedicated to my job. I find this a very fulfilling role, being a community support or social worker.
I've dealt with people with autism, epilepsy, dementia, stroke, visual impairment, Parkingson disease, diabetes, lymphoedema, multiple sclerosis, varicose veins, elderly, and mental health issues eg. schizophrenia, anxiety disorders, depression, etc.
DOMESTIC ASSISTANCE:
I used to have a commercial and domestic cleaning business. I provide services using professional cleaning equipments, rather than using the average household's. I have more than seven years in this field, and am currently working as a domestic assistance for both the elderlies and the disabled.
With my experiences, I provide premium quality services, and that with an initial good clean, I'll be able to maintain that high quality with each following visits.
I have worked in commercial offices, domestic homes, retirement villages, community housings, childcare centres, school halls, etc.
I speak Cantonese as well, which is beneficial.
