I wanted to become a Social Carer because I have always been passionate about helping others and making a positive impact on their lives! As a third-year physiotherapy student with extensive experience working in community and allied health settings, I have developed a deep understanding of the physical and emotional needs of individuals, particularly those living with disabilities or health challenges. My ability to build strong, empathetic relationships with clients, combined with my proactive approach to learning, enables me to support others effectively. I believe my skills in rehabilitation and personal care, alongside my dedication to fostering independence, make me a great fit for a social carer! Some of my hobbies include engaging in sports and exercise, trying new restaurants, soaking in the sun, watching films, enjoying the outdoors and nature, listening to music and spending quality time with friends and family! An interesting fact about me is that I have been working in the NDIS sector for over 2.5 years now!
