After 45 years working in corporate roles (technical and sales) it is time for a change. I want to keep working and do something that is worthwhile and gives something back to the community. As a social carer, I could help you with the following things: - Transport to appointments, events, or shopping - Attending music or theatre events as your buddy - Helping around the home with general assistance - Helping with art, craft, or DIY projects - Helping with cooking I am friendly and have good interpersonal skills, I am flexible, adaptable and able to apply myself to all situations. I like to work with my hands, I am involved in a long-running community theatre company designing and constructing sets and special effects. I have a well-equipped home workshop. I have two classic cars, one that is used regularly, and one waiting for restoration. I’m good with pets and have two fluffy dogs. I have been involved with community and professional organisations since being a teenager, often serving as a committee member. Currently I am the secretary of The Theatre on Chester (since 2017), and children's ministry coordinator of St James Church, King Street (since 2007).
