Hi my name is Joe, I am 23 years old and have a real passion for being a social worker. My whole life i have always felt the desire to help people, I love seeing people have the best possible life they can and being able to put a smile on peoples faces or just making peoples lives easier is something i strive for. Being exposed to people with disabilities through out my life, (more recently by assisting my close family who are intellectually impaired) has allowed me to become patient and have understanding within the field. I love listening to people and understanding how they feel in certain situations so I am able to help them in the best way possible. In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym and being fit, i think its very important to keep healthy but also enjoying life. I often enjoy the outdoors doing things such as camping, walking or just hanging out with friends. I also really enjoy things such as star wars and a nice coffee. I love speaking to people and being able to hear different stories on how people became to be who they are today. Im quite passionate about being a positive contribution to society and making everyones lives better.
