My motivation to become a Social Carer stems from my deep passion for helping others and making a positive impact in people's lives. With 18 years of experience in early childhood education, I have developed a strong understanding of the unique needs of individuals and families. This experience, combined with my role as a mother of three teenagers, has equipped me with the empathy, patience, and insight needed to provide genuine care and support. I believe my ability to connect with people, offer tailored assistance, and create a warm, friendly environment will make me an excellent Social Carer. I'm a creative person with a love for music and the arts, enjoying singing, reading, and playing various instruments. My happiest moments are spent outdoors, whether gardening, camping, or exploring the beautiful surroundings of our community. I also have a passion for shopping, especially at op shops, and enjoy relaxing with a good movie. My experience in early childhood education and my role as a Family Day Care Coordinator have strengthened my organisational and interpersonal skills, which I use to help with planning, administration, and organising. I own a 2022 Kia Carnival and can offer safe and reliable transport, ensuring that those in my care can attend appointments and outings comfortably. I'm currently studying early childhood and primary teaching at university. I love learning and finding creative solutions to improve people's lives.
