About me

7 bookings

I was motivated to become a Social Carer because caring for others has always been a natural part of who I am. Growing up, I was the primary carer in my family which taught me a lot about responsibility and patience. I know how much of a difference good care can make in someone’s daily life. I believe I would be good at this role because I am caring but also calm under pressure. I don’t just see it as a job, but as an opportunity to make a positive difference in people’s lives. I am currently a second year nursing student, which reflects my passion for caring for others and supporting people’s wellbeing. Through my studies and placements, I’ve developed practical clinical skills, communication skills and more of an understanding of person centred care. I am passionate about physical activity and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I enjoy staying active because I believe physical wellbeing plays a big role in mental health too. I also have experience engaging in activities of daily living, such as cooking and cleaning, both in my personal life and through my training. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music and spending time in nature sightseeing. I find that being outdoors helps me recharge and maintain a positive mindset.
