Honestly, the reason I want to be a social carer boils down to wanting to make a real difference in people's lives. It feels important to me that everyone gets a fair shot at a good life, and I'm genuinely motivated to offer whatever support I can to help make that happen. I think I'm a pretty empathetic person, and I try to really listen and understand what someone's going through. To me, it's about treating people with respect and helping them feel empowered in their own lives. While this is the career path I'm aiming for, caring for others feels like something that comes naturally to me. When I'm not thinking about how to help, I love getting out on the basketball court, there's something about the teamwork and energy that I really enjoy. I'm also a big reader, getting lost in a good book is a great way to learn and see things from different perspectives. I'm really looking forward to the opportunity to bring my genuine care and positive attitude to the Like Family team.
