About me

Becoming a Social Carer feels like a natural step for me. I’m a mother of four, and caring for others has always been a big part of who I am, it’s truly my love language. Now that all my children are in school and my home is quieter during the day, I feel ready to use that time and energy to support someone else in a meaningful way. I’m motivated by the opportunity to make someone’s day easier, brighter and less lonely. Whether it’s sharing a morning coffee in the sun, going for a gentle walk outdoors, helping with meals, or simply being good company, I value the simple things that bring comfort and connection. I believe I’ll be good at this role because I’m patient, nurturing, organised and reliable. Years of raising a family have taught me how to listen, adapt, and create a calm, supportive environment. I genuinely care about people feeling valued and respected, and I would bring that same warmth and dedication into my work as a Social Carer. I enjoy simple things like having a morning coffee in the sun and breathing in the fresh air. It helps me start the day feeling calm, positive and grounded. I value time outdoors, staying active, and creating a peaceful, comfortable environment. I also enjoy cooking, keeping things organised, playing video games to unwind, and spending quality time with my family.
