Hi I'm James,
I am late-diagnosed ASD and ADHD, so I bring lived experience of social isolation, exclusion, sensory needs, and dysregulation to the support I offer neurodivergent participants. I believe good support is quiet, patient, non-pathologising, non-therapisisng, non-performative, and built around your autonomy.
I excel at one-on-one connection: deep listening, walking, discussing special interests, or being present. I value empathy, kindness, humour, and sensory-safe environments where neurodivergent people can be themselves without having to mask or perform.
I am based in Coorparoo, Brisbane, and offer daily living assistance, social companionship, and community access. I travel by public transport and can reliably reach inner-city Brisbane and the surrounding suburbs.
Support offered:
• In-home care (morning and evening routines, meal preparation, medical prompts)
• Daily living assistance and help around the house
• Social support and companionship
• Community access and appointment support (health appointments, classes, exercise, volunteering, community gatherings, and the like)
• Advocacy support (communication with services, navigating systems, writing emails)
• Digital and technology assistance (phones, apps, online services)
