My passion for becoming a Social Carer grew from caring for my elderly and disabled parents, where I saw how those little moments—like sharing a meal or a chat—brought them joy and dignity. I know I’ll be great at this because I’m a warm, patient listener who loves building connections, and my experience with tasks like meal prep and helping my parents with cleaning or even some gardening would make a difference in someone's day. I’m really passionate about old movies, musicals, puzzles and boardgames, which I loved sharing with my elderly parents to brighten their day. My range of skills cover gardening, crafts, and drawing give me a creative, patient approach whilst building fun, meaningful moments with people, whether it’s planting flowers together, or chatting over a classic film. I’m also passionate about diving into history through documentaries and good ol chats at a cafe over a coffee! It would I’m a history buff who gets everyone talking about the past and getting nostalgic! And also I’d love for you to know that my skills as a graphic designer, artist, and crafter fuel my passion for setting up fun activities, like crafting projects while watching a client’s favourite old film, just as I did with my elderly parents.
