About me

I was motivated to become a Social Carer because I’ve always had a genuine passion for helping people and making a positive difference in their lives. I find it very rewarding to support individuals who need extra care, whether that’s through companionship, daily living assistance, or simply being someone they can rely on. Seeing clients smile or achieve something they’ve been working towards gives me a real sense of purpose. I believe I’ll be good at this role because I’m a naturally caring, patient, and empathetic person. I’m also a great listener and communicator, which helps me build trust and strong relationships with the people I support. My 3 year experience in disability (mental health and other sectors) and community care has taught me how to stay calm in challenging situations, respect each person’s individuality and always provide care with kindness and dignity. Outside of work, I enjoy staying active and going to the gym, as it helps me maintain a healthy and positive lifestyle. I’m a very social person who values spending quality time with friends and family, and I love getting involved in my community through volunteering with not for profit organisations and helping others. Cooking is another passion of mine, I enjoy experimenting with new recipes and adding my own creative twist to different dishes. I’d like to add that I’m a very approachable and empathetic person who genuinely enjoys connecting with others. I like to be reliable, professional, and always willing to help, whether that’s supporting a client, assisting a team member, or learning something new. I’m also fluent in both English and Arabic, which helps me connect with clients from diverse backgrounds. I am also a nursing student and I have currently finished my second year in nursing, onto my final year!! Therefore I have a lot of experience with medication administration, while also having experienced caring for patients with different conditions on my many professional placement experiences in the hospitals and aged care facility.
