I love helping people, I always endeavour to make a person feel heard, seen and safe. My hobbies and interests include swimming, cooking and I also love going shopping, art galleries. I’m also an animal lover! My parents were chefs back in the day and I’m an ex barista and cafe manager. I love food both cooking it and eating it! Hospitality was a great career because I met so many people and heard so many stories and I’d love to hear yours. My sister in law and best friend was diagnosed with leukaemia and was immunocompromised and she was in and out of hospital for the last five years. Whilst it was hard to watch, I saw how much healthcare workers, social workers and support workers made a deep impact on her life and the people around her. This motivated me to change careers and study nursing and make a more meaningful impact to peoples lives.
