I started in the industry in 2022 and loved it! I take great pleasure in helping people enjoy their lives (I usually have just as much fun if not more than the clients) human connection is something I value highly and I love caring for others and helping them find excitement. I love the outdoors, I frequently hike and camp when I can. I love baking! One of my previous cerebral palsy clients and I started a YouTube channel for him to cook and bake, it was a huge hit and we even made merch! I have recently taken up pottery and am a frequent gym goer and walker. I love working with children and creating fun and educational activities. I am a very good conversationalist and get invested in peoples journeys. I have a 3 years experience as a carer for disability, aged and palliative in addition to over a years experience as a house senior and manager for SIL houses. I have completed part of a bachelor of paramedicine and bachelor or physiology these completed units paired with my training and experience exceed a cert 3 in individual support (disability & aged). My car is currently in the process of some major repairs so I have become a public transport connoisseur. Would be suited best to in-home care and walks in addition to public transport with the client which is a vital skill for them to develop until it is repaired.
