I want to become a Social Carer because I am driven and dedicated to making a positive difference in people's lives. I am passionate about ensuring that individuals have a voice and are heard. One of my many achievements is advocating for vulnerable individuals and their rights. My background in working in Before-and-After-School Care and as a Disability Support Worker has allowed me to develop the skills and knowledge needed to further meet a person's needs, goals and interests. I have gained the ability to write concise case notes and only document what's important. My career aspirations is centered around growth, experience, and further training to be able to achieve success in a higher position. The role as a Social Carer is a stepping stone to my long-term goal in Case Management. When I'm not working as a Social Carer, I enjoy spending time with my dog Louie, who is my loyal companion, and we go exploring parks, beaches, and trails. I like to stay active by going to Pilates, on walks, bike riding, playing basketball, and reading books in my spare time. I love spending time with family and friends on the weekends. I have completed my Diploma in Community Services (Case Management), Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. As well as my Diploma in School Education and Care.
