About me

What motivated me to become a Social Carer is my desire to work in a hands-on, meaningful role where I can support people directly and make a real impact. After serving in the Australian Army as an infantry soldier, I realised I thrive in roles that require adaptability, quick thinking, and human connection, not behind a counter, but out in the real world where every day is different. Social care appealed to me because it aligns with those same values: responsibility, service, and resilience. I believe I’d be a great fit for this work because I bring discipline, empathy, and strong communication skills from both military and civilian experiences. Whether it’s coaching young people in surf lifesaving or supporting teammates in high-pressure situations, I’ve always been someone others can rely on. I’m motivated, reliable, and genuinely passionate about helping people feel safe, supported, and respected in their daily lives. I am a very creative person who enjoys to draw and design things, I also love making things whether thats cooking, textiles or woodwork. Additionally I am a very active person, I go to the gym regularly and play in my local soccer team where we love to socialise, this helps me stay balanced, focused and connected with others. I love to learn new things and I am passionate about understanding the world, I am currently studying a Bachelor of Forensic Science and a Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation at UTS. I am also very passionate about the environment, climate issues and world news. I’m a go-getter who likes to stay busy and get things done. I enjoy making the most of each day, it helps me feel productive, focused, and motivated. I thrive in hands-on roles and am always ready to take initiative. I'm adaptable, reliable under pressure, and genuinely enjoy helping others. Whether it’s in a structured role like the Army or in creative, people-focused work like social care, I always give 100% and take pride in doing things well.
