My favourite part of social work is building connections with people and their families. To me, being a Social Carer means creating goals together for a life long support journey and then making them happen! I aspire to always provide an empowering and positive approach with each and every individual. I have been working as a disability support worker/speech pathology assistant for 2 years alongside studying a Bachelor of Speech Pathology. My professional experience includes working with adults and teenagers with disability, neurodiversity, and mental health conditions. My roles have included supporting community inclusion, independence, transportation, daily living skills, and communication difficulties. My passions include music, Disney, art, dance, dogs, and food! An interesting fact about me is that I am obsessed with the new Wicked movie out now!
