For the past seven months, I have been working as a support worker for a Sydney-based NGO within the NDIS sector. This experience has been incredibly rewarding, both personally and professionally. I have been described as a caring and empathetic person by the participants in the program I work for, and this has been the best compliment I could have ever received. In October, I started my Diploma of Community Services to gain more theoretical knowledge and further my career in community services. I am excited to join the Like Family platform and become a Social Carer for someone. It would be a great pleasure to be trusted with this role, and I am committed to going the extra mile to provide the best support possible. I enjoy the outdoors, concerts and movie nights. My greatest passion is traveling, and I've collected many travel stories over the years that I am always very keen to share! I’m also an animal lover and enjoy engaging in hands-on creative activities (acting is my favorite one!). I am a 34-year-old Italian girl who has called Sydney home for the past two years. Before moving to Australia, I had the privilege of living in several countries, including Great Britain, Iceland, Albania, and Portugal. These experiences allowed me to immerse myself in different cultures and learn new languages, such as Spanish and Portuguese. After completing my Master's degree in Human Rights, I have consistently worked with NGOs, focusing on children's rights and raising awareness through various campaigns.
