About me

Hi, I’m Fiona , an experienced patient social carer with a Diploma of Community Services & a genuine passion for helping others. Growing up my grandparents lived with us and I was a young mum so caring and helping others has always been a big part of my daily life. I now also actively care for my mum who has become very reliant on assistance since dads passing 18 months ago. Life has been challenging but that has helped shape me into who I am today, a genuine honest person with a passion for helping others who gently encourages others to do their best to maintain their independence and enjoy the life they have. I have a vast range of experience caring for people of all ages and from all walks of life and I offer my services to both aged care and NDIS participants. I pride myself on creating long term connections and I truly value the trusting relationships I have built up with my clients and their families over time and love the fact that they look forward to my visits as much as I do. I don’t judge or discriminate and genuinely enjoy the time we spend together. I am very reliable and have a positive outlook on life but also understand life can be challenging and am often complimented on being very understanding and supportive and with my skills and knowledge of the system I can advocate for those needing a voice or extra guidance when its needed I am honest trustworthy a great listener and I look forward to being that friendly helping hand and attentive listener to either yourself or your loved one. I love animals and currently have 3 rescue cats - Mila , Lucas and Chester all have uniquely individual personalities I enjoy spending time with family& friends & keeping active. I enjoy walks along the beach and being outdoors enjoying the fresh air and sunshine. I enjoy cooking and do prefer sweets over savoury . I love meeting new people and believe you can never have too many friends I am a social person always looking for the positives in life I have no sense of smell. Its something i was born without but it doesnt bother me at all
