About me

I wanted to become a social carer because I came to Australia by myself since 2016, so I understand how hard it can be to feel alone or to need support. That experience helped me become more patient, caring, and strong. I also have a friend who uses wheelchair, and seeing how different his daily life is made me realise how important it is to have someone who truly cares. I want to be that kind of person for others - to help them feel supported, respected, and not alone. That's why I feel this job is meaningful and something I hope I would be good at. Some of my hobbies include cooking, journaling and writing, walking in nature, and going camping. I also been reading to learn about healing & mental health. I also like connecting with people and listening their stories. I know what it feels like to live far from or without a family. And it's a feeling I understand deeply. I really admire what Like Family does - offering care that feels warm, personal & meaningful. I would love to be a part of that, a team that values humanity, not just service. To give people not just support, but a sense of family.
