Hi my name is Evan. I am 20 years old from New Zealand and a recently joined support worker of the like family team. I feel strongly about building connections with people who need care and support as I have an abundance of firsthand experience and understanding of ASD, ADHD, depression and anxiety which I have copied with my whole life. Because of my personal experience in those fields I have used that as my motivation for becoming a support worker and helping others in similar circumstances with the ability to socialize and feel part of the community. Some of my interest and hobbies are a fascination for all things historical as well as a keen interest in politics. In my spare time I like to game but also keep abreast of the technical details and production of games. I like to travel and am interested in languages, other cultures and world affairs. As a support worker I will ensure to priorities the importance of empathy, kindness, humor, respect and decency that is often not shared with people with disabilities as much as it should, an above all else maintain a high level of honesty and commitment to assisting you and your needs.
