The personal satisfaction, happiness and boost of self confidence I receive and feel, when I’m presented with the opportunity to listen, understand, assist and support, is the reason I became a carer. Compassion and empathy are in my nature, respecting and acknowledging are part of my personality and who I am. The results of my passion, dedication and commitment, are visible when my clients achieve their personal goals and improve their skills and abilities. Seeing a client became more confident, more independent , improving their daily life and social interactions, that’s how I know I’m good at it. Baking, cooking and gardening are my hobbies, I take great pride in my vegetable garden all year round and I’m always happy to spend my spare time there. A new recipe always sparks my interest and enthusiasm, my kitchen is my safe space, when required. My enthusiasm and passion in trying new things, is a valuable skill I have, together with the ability to learn, adapt and improvise quickly, when required. I like learning, improving and being productive. I’m organised, tidy and motivated to better myself, my life and the lives of those around me, including those I care for and assist.
