About me

As a clinical psychologist, I’ve always been passionate about supporting people’s mental and emotional well-being. Over time, I found myself increasingly drawn to more hands-on, day-to-day support—especially with individuals who may be vulnerable or navigating complex life situations. Becoming a Social Carer felt like a natural extension of my professional values. I’m motivated by the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in someone’s quality of life, not only through emotional support but also through practical assistance and companionship. My background as a clinical psychologist has equipped me with deep empathy, active listening skills, and a strong understanding of human behavior and mental health. These qualities allow me to respond calmly and sensitively in a variety of situations. I’m also patient, observant, and committed to treating everyone with dignity and respect. I believe these strengths, combined with my genuine desire to help others feel safe, understood, and supported, make me well-suited to a Social Carer role. I’m passionate about exploring new cultures, traveling, and connecting with people from different backgrounds, which has enriched my perspective and strengthened my interpersonal skills. I enjoy art, music, and theatre, as well as spending time in nature, which brings me a sense of balance and calm. Wood carving is a creative outlet that helps me focus and express myself, and I see humor as a powerful tool for creating well-being. I also have a strong interest in food and staying active through sports—reflecting my curiosity, sensitivity, and positive approach to life. And of course I am passionate about people and their stories. I bring a strong academic and professional background in the healthcare field. I am a qualified clinical psychologist with experience supporting individuals through emotional and mental health challenges. I’ve also worked as a researcher in the field of neurosurgery, which has given me a deep understanding of the brain, behavior, and the complexities of patient care. This combination of clinical and research experience has strengthened my commitment to holistic, compassionate care. I’ve always been drawn to the healthcare sector and find great purpose in roles that allow me to support others, both emotionally and practically, with empathy, professionalism, and respect.
