I wanted to be a Social Carer as having Autism and ADHD, I understand issues from lived experience, which helps me to connect with clients. Being a carer is something I enjoy and am passionate about, with being able to help clients communicate, have someone to rely on, and to help them access and participate in their communities. I enjoy playing basketball, catching up with friends, animals, and playing games. I am highly empathetic, a quick thinker and problem solver, reliable, client focused, and have leadership experience. I have been supporting multiple clients from a variety of backgrounds from July 2024, my main focus for them is to have them engage in activities in their community and support their social participation. I've been volunteering with an All-Abilities basketball program for a year, and have been supporting both the coaches and participants by joining in drills and leading by example, assisting in setting up equipment, and engaging participants.
