I am currently looking for a new opportunity in the community and disability support field. I have previous experience working as a support worker and Personal Care Assistant, where I provided person-centred care and supported clients with their daily needs and independence. My expectation in becoming a Social Carer is to continue doing meaningful work that helps improve people’s quality of life. I want to work with compassion, patience, and respect supporting clients to feel valued, safe, and confident. I also hope to keep learning and developing my skills to provide the best possible care to every person I support. I’m passionate about helping others and making a positive difference in people’s lives. I enjoy providing care and emotional support, especially to those who need extra assistance or companionship. I find it very rewarding to see clients feel comfortable, respected, and happy. My key skills include communication, patience, and empathy. I’m good at listening, building trust, and understanding people’s individual needs. I also have strong teamwork and time management skills from my experience in aged care and community support work. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, listening to music, doing beauty and self-care routines, and spending quality time with my loved ones. I also like going for walks and exploring new places, as it helps me stay active and balanced.
