In the past five years I have gained key skills and competencies in caring for disabled and aged persons. I have worked in various capacities as a personal care assistant and disability support worker. I am patient, kind, compassionate and practice active listening. I am open-minded individual intrigued by diversity and always seeks to learn from others ^& ^&I would take time to know m client and their interests. This will include reading their files, having a chat with them, their family/friends and other staff. Through this initial assignment I will suggest to the client skills and hobbies that resonate. I will pay detailed attention to their words and actions as well, to pick up interests.^&
