I've worked as a support worker for some time now. I started in 1994 in Auckland NZ in a SIL's house and then moved here to Australia and worked in various settings mainly in Melbourne Victoria (1996-2006). My previous employement was with E W Tipping Foundation (now called Aruma). I bring life experience and hands on experience with my son who has acquired brain injury from when he was little. I know a little about NDIS and its rollercoaster rides if you've ever had to deal with them. I enjoyed socialising especially in club settings like tennis but now am more mature and prefer quiter activities like reading. I am described as a friendly easy going person. I love meeting and chatting to people but I also know when to respect other peoples privacy. I believe I bring a safe and inclusive safe space while aiming to meet your goals and needs.
