I’m motivated to become a Social Carer because supporting people to live confident and independent lives is something I truly value. My father has two sisters with disabilities who have been in full-time care their whole lives mostly from his parents himself and his brother, and seeing the ongoing support my family provides even now in their old age has shaped my understanding, compassion, and respect for people with different abilities, strengthening my commitment to treating everyone with dignity and kindness. I believe I’ll be great in this role because I’m patient, reliable, and able to build genuine connections, and I’m passionate about helping others feel valued, supported, and empowered in their everyday lives.
I’m passionate about staying active and spending time outdoors. I love going for walks, exploring new places, and enjoying fresh air. I’m also a big fan of sports, whether I’m playing or watching, and I enjoy movies, card games, board games, and video games as great ways to connect and have fun. Listening to music is another big part of my life and something I enjoy. I’m a friendly, patient person who values teamwork, independence, and making everyday moments enjoyable. I love building positive connections and I’m always keen to encourage others to try new activities, stay active, and have fun.
I’m someone who brings enthusiasm, reliability, and a positive mindset into everything I do. While I’m still at the beginning of my career in the support industry, I’m extremely eager to learn, grow, and be someone people can trust and depend on. I enjoy meeting new people, adapting to different situations, and finding ways to brighten someone’s day. I take initiative, communicate well, and always show up with genuine respect and kindness. Qualities I believe are essential for great support work.
