I would like to help people with disabilities feel less isolated by assisting them to participate in social activities and enjoying their life to the fullest. I currently work at St Andrews Hospital as a Patient Services Assistant and have developed strong interpersonal and communications skills that enable me to provide the best possible patient care. People often tell me that I am easy to talk to and would be perfect in a support role. I am keen to help people requiring assistance with their daily activities, meal preparation, shopping or appointments. Exercise is a big part of my life and I enjoy mixed netball, running and strength training. My hobbies also include reading (particularly motivational books), movies and games. I have work experience in kitchens so know how to cook. I would welcome the opportunity to assist Like Family clients with their hobbies and interests. I have also obtained a Certificate III in Health Services Assistance.
