Hi, I’m Daniel — a warm, curious, and adaptable support worker with a big heart, a chatty nature, and a love for connecting with people from all walks of life. I bring over 15 years of experience in retail management, disability support, house and yard maintenance, cleaning, pet care and a few trades as main hand or labourer — and along the way, I’ve developed strong emotional intelligence, quick problem-solving skills, and a deep respect for individuality. I genuinely enjoy helping others, whether that’s through a meaningful conversation, practical support, or simply bringing a bit of joy to someone’s day. I’m also a deep thinker and love learning — I’m the kind of person who thrives on trivia, interesting conversations, and understanding how people work. I'm emotionally mature, attentive, and great at tailoring my approach to each person's unique personality, energy, and communication style. Over the years, I’ve supported a diverse range of people — from neurodivergent adults to elderly individuals, and those living with epilepsy, Down syndrome, or schizophrenia. My experience has taught me how to communicate with care, celebrate small wins, and create supportive routines that uplift and empower. I know when to be calm and practical, and when to bring humour, creativity, and fun into the day. Outside of work, I’m into music (I play piano), arcades, gaming, nature walks, animals, and discovering new food spots. I also enjoy personal development and finding better ways to stay organised and present.
