I am keen to help and support people to live independently. To offer them dignity, respect, care and support. I believe that I am a good listener, very sociable and experienced in domestic duties. My main passion/hobby is my dogs. I’m a ‘semi-retired’ greyhound trainer and breeder. My hobby of training race dogs turned into a full time job for several years, of which I had a lot of success. I now just enjoy caring for my crew of retired racers, but also still attend the races at times to help out. I also love working on our property, gardening and keeping the place well maintained. My experience working in hospitals has given me a good understanding of the importance of being professional, confidentiality and person centred care. I have an ability to remain calm under pressure and love anything that’s challenging.
