I’ve always been motivated by a genuine desire to help others feel supported, valued, and less alone especially people who may be going through it. Being a Social Carer feels like a natural path for me right now because I find purpose in building meaningful connections and making a positive difference in someone’s daily life.
I believe I’ll be good at it because I’m patient, compassionate, and a good listener. I take the time to understand people’s needs and treat everyone with respect and kindness, just like I would with my own family.
I love spending time with loved ones, I love to travel, play and listen to music, love games, reading, writing, drawing, exploring new places and cafes, I love movies and film, I love sport and the Matildas, I love being active and moving whether that's running, hiking, playing sports or just walk, I love outer space, I love learning about people and their stories, I love film and production, I love carpentry and building things, I love photography. There's a lot of things I love and adore, I could go on for days.
In terms of skills I like to think I have great people skills, I am good with anything handy, cooking, photography, music etc
I just love people and everyone has such a unique story to tell. I have done support work with a couple people privately for 1.5 years now and it's rewarding work - it has its challenges but always rewarding
