I want to be a Social Carer because with my demonstrated empathy, compassion, strong interpersonal skills, effective communication and active listening, openness, respect, understanding, positive attitude, ability to build rapport and trust with diverse clients (as a disability support worker, teacher, youth justice worker and pastoral support) and the ability to understand and support individuals in a sensitive and caring manner while maintaining professional and emotional boundaries, problem-solving skills, experience, thoughtful and patient approach and a person-centred support and care to individuals with diverse needs, while promoting and upholding their human dignity, coupled with my passion and genuine desire to make a difference in others’ life such as providing companionship and helping them build meaningful connections, helping them with meal preparation, cleaning and appointments, supporting them do exercises and move around, I am confident that I will help clients to enjoy a healthy and quality life based on their tailored needs, while empowering them to exercise control and choice, focusing on the achievement of their goals. My interests, passion and hobbies include: to always learn and work towards improving my skills, knowledge and capabilities to support vulnerable people (especially young people) to have a better life and meaningful social relationships/engagements. I am passionate about offering a helping hand and supporting others met their needs and achieve their goals. I am a friendly, social, compassionate, patient, kind, trustworthy, dedicated, respectful, reliable and a high achieving goal driven worker. I love watching soccer and rugby, listening to music, going for a walk while admiring nature, assisting vulnerable people.
