Hi everyone! I have recently moved to Berry and have worked in the Sutherland Shire area before that. Having been a Support Worker with Like Family for 7 years now i absolutely love the interaction with people and helping you achieve your goals and activities whilst having a laugh and some fun along the way. I have a very friendly, relaxed compassionate and empathetic personality who enjoys interaction with people of all ages as i am a carer by nature with a calming demeanor. Being an attentive listener i have always strived to help people in their daily lives as in particularly these difficult times it is so important to have regular contact and support from caring workers who understand the pressures of perhaps living alone or just liking some companionship. I can play chess, cards, i love reading, going to the movies, cafes and i LOVE to cook and enjoy being of assistance in the kitchen, helping you to plan and cook nutritious meals, go on drives seeing the countryside or a day by the water feeding the ducks! Going for walks, lunch by the beach, picnics, playing/walking with all animals, gardening, fishing adventures, swimming , snorkeling and being sociable, i am always aware of daily news and events . I am very happy to travel and accompany you to events locally or something a little further that you may be interested in. Having a great sense of humor and being respectful of peoples values and beliefs i have no prejudices or need to be judgmental . I have had 4 covid vaccinations, a current Police Check , WWCC and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate , I look forward to meeting with you soon ! Warm Regards Cheryl
