I used to help and taking care of both my grand parents for 3 years until they passed away. I was with them for 24 hours a day. I always wanted to make sure that they are always happy not depressed. I did everything what they like. Singing, story telling, discussing politics, board games, bathing them. They loved walking in the garden. Later stage of their lives they were suffering from dementia. I always tried to remember them even a simple little thing. I felt really happy at the end of the day that I helped someone to overcome something. ^& ^&I always look for other persons hobbies and play with that or I quickly learn anything they like and adopt it.^&
