My passion for serving the community and contributing positively by utilising my knowledge and skills has given me the drive to work as a community pharmacist since 2011. However, facilitating the sales of pharmaceutical drugs failed to provide the personal fulfilment and job satisfaction that I am seeking in my career. In 2021, I embarked on a new journey as an NDIS support worker at Like Family Home Care. I enjoy supporting my clients and have found a sense of purpose in providing social support services. Growing up, I took on the caregiver role and advocated for my family members because we were first-generation immigrants from a non-English-speaking background. I am passionate about using my skills to empower people to regain their health and a sense of autonomy, so they can enjoy life and partake in activities they love. I have experience in skill training, disability support, transport, light domestic assistance, meal preparation, and social support. I am working towards becoming a Primary School Teacher and can provide tutoring services in Mathematics, English, and Science, if needed. I enjoy baking and am passionate about finding simple, healthy recipes on YouTube, which I love to share and enjoy with others. I also have some training in singing and playing musical instruments (keyboard), and I would love to share the joy and happiness that music can bring :)
