I’m a friendly, caring and down-to-earth person who genuinely enjoys helping others and making their day a little easier. I love getting to know people, having a chat and helping with the everyday things that can make a real difference. I have experience spending time with and supporting older people through living with my nan, as well as volunteering at the Currumbin RSL. These experiences have taught me the importance of patience, listening and taking the time to understand what someone actually needs rather than assuming. I’m a practical, hands-on person and am more than happy to help with things around the home, getting out and about, running errands or simply providing some company. I also love being outdoors and gardening, whether that’s tidying up a garden, planting flowers, growing veggies or working together on a little project someone has been wanting to tackle. I understand that meeting someone new and accepting help can sometimes feel daunting, so I always try to be approachable, respectful and easy to talk to. I’m happy to take things at your pace and want the time we spend together to feel comfortable and enjoyable. For me, the most rewarding part is knowing I’ve helped someone do something they enjoy, accomplish something they’ve been wanting to do, or simply made their day that little bit better.
