I wanted to be a social carer because l have a deep rooted desire to help others . I have witnessed first hand how aged people and those living with disabilities need assistance to live independently by fostering their confidence. As well as , respecting and being empathetic to such individuals. I am passionate about aged care and disability support because these are spaces where vulnerability meet resilience. I have seen how uplifting and empowerment can go a long way to enhance people with disability and aged. Skills- personal care assistance, communication and active listening, documentation and reporting, cultural sensitivity, hand hygiene certificate. Hobbies- cooking, nature walks, reading novels, games such as chess, puzzles, snake and ladders.
