I wanted to become a Social Carer because I genuinely enjoy helping people and making a positive difference in their daily lives. I have always been a caring and patient person, and through my experience in healthcare and support roles, I realised how important it is to provide not just physical support but also emotional comfort. I believe I will be good at this role because I am compassionate, reliable, and able to stay calm in different situations. I respect people’s independence and dignity, and I always try to build trust and understanding with the people I support. Some of my hobbies include cooking, listening to music, and spending time with others. I enjoy cooking healthy meals and can assist with meal preparation based on individual preferences. My key skills include good communication, patience, time management, and the ability to adapt to different situations. I am also a quick learner and enjoy building positive relationships with people. I like helping others feel comfortable, supported, and valued. An interesting fact about me is that I have experience working in both kitchen and care environments, which has helped me become very organised and responsible.
