I love interacting and connecting with people and getting to know them - their journeys, hopes and ambitions. As a teacher with adults and a nurse I have gained a lot of experience working with people from a wide range of backgrounds and in a variety of settings. I listen well, with kindness, respect, and an open heart and mind. I foster supportive, respectful and collaborative working relationships and really enjoy assisting people with their needs and the pursuit of their goals. I'll gladly share any of my skills and interests but will always be guided by what the person is interested in. For instance, if the person is interested in art, I’ll gladly explore that together. Or if a person would like to learn more about study skills or English, we could look into that together. Then again, if the person is keen to go on adventures, close to home or further afield, then let's find ways to make that happen. So, I look forward to meeting people and providing the support that they are looking for.
