I wanted to become as social carer as I feel I can make a positive difference to someone's life . I have extensive experience (14 years) working with people with disabilities , particularly those who are blind or vision impaired . In many cases their disability was not just vision but they had additional challenges. I am a strong advocate of people in our community living the life they choose and not being limited but any physical or emotional challenge. I enjoy most sports ,music ,keeping up with current affairs particularly politics, finance and issues around the world. I enjoy mixing with people of different cultures and enjoy hearing about their experiences , beliefs and spirituality . I have excellent customer service skills and have an extraordinary attention to detail. By nature , I enjoy helping people . I attain great satisfaction from knowing I have made life easier or better for someone . I feel I have been blessed over the course of my life and would like to helpful those less fortunate.
