I have always worked in the field of Nursing, spending most of my time in Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol rehabilitation. I would like to continue doing the things that I love ( such as assisting/guiding/teaching/role modeling) people who have issues with their mental health, outside of a hospital setting. Having a long-term and ongoing therapeutic relationship with a few people would be very rewarding. I am passionate and patient, and have many years of experience dealing with challenging situations and people. I am very familiar with running cooking groups and assisting with shopping for same. I am also very confident with assessing people's abilities to play specific board games to increase or maintain their cognitive abilities. I believe that no one should be discriminated against and everyone should have access to their community.
