I have worked within various of roles across the disability services for the past 9 years but keep finding myself coming back to direct support. I enjoy the relationships I get to build working with clients directly, supporting them to plan and achieve their goals. I enjoy supporting clients with every day tasks, as well as planning special for occasions. I believe I will be good at this role as I'm enthusiastic, passionate and empathetic within the work I do. I am passionate about working with people, helping them to achieve their goals and live life to their best abilities. Outside of work I am passionate about my family, my dogs, the outdoors and arts and crafts. I was born and raised in Germany buy have been living in Australia for the past 7 years. I speak both German and English fluently and have a great understanding of varying cultures. I pride myself in being punctual and attentive to small details, being passionate about planning, be it for everyday activities or long term goals. Overall, I am extremely passionate about disability work and thrive when working directly with people.
