Hello, I am now semi-retired but still keen to help out the community, especially with transportation to appointments, going for a drive or walk and companionship. I am a still a Registered Nurse (30+ years) and have completed many additional courses, including Aged Care courses and Dementia courses through the Uni of Tasmania and La Trobe. I used to work in Hospital in the Home which provided many treatments for patients. More recently worked in a specialized community nursing service called Residential in Reach, in conjunction with G.P.'s. l have extensive experience in caring for older people with brain diseases as well as cancer.
