I've always been drawn to helping others, and my experience working with people with disabilities and in aged care as a support worker has deepened my passion for this field. For three years, I worked with individuals with disabilities in my home country, supporting them with daily tasks, advocating for their needs, and empowering them to live independently. This experience taught me the importance of patience, empathy, and understanding in building trust and fostering growth. As a support worker, I've seen firsthand the impact that dedicated care and support can have on someone's life. I've witnessed individuals overcome challenges, achieve their goals, and thrive with the right support. This experience has given me the skills and confidence to pursue a career in social care.
